ClamBook - Turn your iPhone or Android phone into a laptop!

Here is a quite interesting concept from ClamCase, it's called the ClamBook! The ClamBook is an ultra-thin and very slim UltraBook looking laptop, with a full size keyboard, trackpad, 16:9 High Definition widescreen LED backlit display, 3D cinema sound, and an aluminium body. But what makes this so interesting is that the ClamBook contains no CPU, memory or hard disk storage! Instead, the ClamBook is powered by your smartphone.



Your Android phone or iPhone connects directly to the ClamBook with one single cable using ClamBook's integrated MHL technology, this avoids the use of multiple cables. And because the ClamBook features an internal battery, it means you can use your device for much longer without having to worry about battery life.

The ClamBook features a range of desktop class applications such as; FireFox WebBrowser, Gmail WebApp, and On Screen Dialer. Currently a concept, the ClamBook is expected to officialy launch by the end of 2012.
