List of the top free multi-platform FPS games

These days, there are many free FPS games out there to play. The big problem is most of these games will run on Microsoft Windows only. Luckily, there are games that are multi-platform --- this means that not only can they run on Windows, but also can be played natively on Mac OS X and Linux. I have compiled a list of the best 100% free FPS games available on all operating systems.

ASSAULT CUBE

AssaultCube is a free and open source multiplayer FPS. The game is very fast-paced and contains 12 multiplayer game modes such as: Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Survivor etc. AssaultCube is ultra-lightweight, weighing in at just 50mb it still offers decent graphics, and allows it to work on older hardware. POSTAL 2 MULTIPLAYER
