Apple to Release Retina Display MacBooks, iMacs and New Accessories at WWDC

Rumours say that Apple will announce a whole new Mac lineup at the upcoming World Wide Developers Conference in June. According to 9to5Mac, there will be an overhaul of the MacBook Pro range (which hasn't had a major update since 2008) and the MacBook Air range. These are expected to feature the ultra high resolution Retina Display and of course Intel's new 'Ivy Bridge' processors.

According to sources, Apple is planning to update at least four out of their five Mac lines at the June 11 WWDC kickoff keynote. Apple’s current Mac lines are the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Pro. We are hearing that Apple will release two configurations of the redesigned 15-inch MacBook Pro, but it is unclear what will happen to the other MacBook Pro screen sizes. We previously reported that Apple is working on a version of the 11 inch and 13 inch MacBook Airs with Retina Displays, and we are led to believe that these new ultra-thin notebooks will serve as the second Mac update announcement at WWDC. Apple will likely release two new configurations of both MacBook Air screen sizes.
There are also reports that the iMac lineup will also be equipped with the Retina Display and new hardware internals. The Mac Mini and Mac Pro are to also get a refresh.

Another interesting report says that Apple will also update their range of Mac accessories, which will include new keyboards, mice, trackpads and the airport range. If these reports are true, it will be very unusual as Apple normally release 1 - 2 products at a time. More than likely the Mac range will be updated in intervals over this year.
