Mozilla will be making a new web browser for the iPad but it won't be called Firefox. 'Junior' is the name chosen for their iPad web browser. Mozilla's Alex Limi has offered a sneak peek of the new web browser, although it's still currently a prototype, Junior presents a few unique features for browsing on the iPad. The view is minimalistic, taking away the traditional address bar and giving a full screen experience, leaving only 2 buttons on the web browser screen and neatly hiding away all the other features.
As mentioned by Alex Limi, "We wanted to make something entirely new. We wanted to look into how we could reinvent the browser for a new form factor," and criticising Apple's Safari for iPad by calling it "a miserable experience".
