Powerbook Desktop Conversion Mod

Here is an exciting Mac mod done by Richard Hunt which features an old Mac Powerbook laptop converted into a sleek looking desktop Mac. The whole design is quite simple but very elegant, with the case made out of 2 sheets of white acrylic, bolted together by socket countersunk screws and using a 15mm chrome pipe as spacers between the 2 white acrylic sheets. The middle is then wrapped in perforated steel.

The result... A stunning desktop Mac and a clever way to make use of your old Mac notebook.
